Our policies
What to know before you book. Your therapist goes over draping and pressure again at every visit.
Booking and deposits
Book on the booking page or call the studio. There is no deposit: a card holds your time, and you pay after your session. A gift card can pay for any session.
Canceling and running late
Please give us 24 hours to cancel or move a session, and tell us if you are unwell. We would rather move your time than have you come in sick. If you run late, your session ends on time so the next guest isn't kept waiting.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss a session without telling us, the held time is charged as set out when you booked. Call the studio if something went wrong and we will talk it over.
Children and companions
Massage here is for adults, 18 and over. Please come on your own or with an adult who can wait in the front room. Children can't wait in the treatment rooms.
If you're not happy
If a session wasn't right, tell us within a few days and we'll make it right.
Tipping
Tipping is welcome and never expected. Add one when you pay at the desk, or when you book.
Undressing and draping
You undress to your comfort, and you are covered by a sheet the whole time. Only the part we are working on is uncovered, and it is covered again when we move on.
Pressure, consent and stopping
Before we start, your therapist asks about pressure and any area to avoid. Tell us at any point to go lighter or firmer. You can pause, change position or end the session at any time, for any reason, and we stop right away.
Before your visit
Come about ten minutes early and wear what is comfortable. Tell us when you book about any nut or fragrance allergy: we use unscented oil unless you ask, and we can tell you every ingredient.
When to ask your doctor first
If you are pregnant, ask your doctor or midwife before you book. After surgery, book only with your surgeon's go-ahead. For any health condition, check with your doctor first and tell your therapist when you arrive. We don't diagnose.
